Occurrence of the six associations from the suballiance Alnenion glutinosae-incanae Oberd. 1953 enlisted in the annotated checklist of the Hungarian plant communities is discussed. Caltho laetae – Alnetum glutinosae Šomšák (1961) 1979, an association from high mountains, is not identical with Caltho-Alnetum glutinosae Šomšák 1963 therefore it does not exist in Hungary. The proper interpretation of Aegopodio-Alnetum V. Kárpáti, I. Kárpáti et Jurko 1961 is Aegopodio-Alnetum glutinosae V. Kárpáti, I. Kárpáti et Jurko ex Šomšák 1961. The association occurs in the Északi-Középhegység (North Hungarian Mountain Range).  No typical forms of remaining four associations occur in the same region but their existence can not be excluded. In contrast, another associations from this suballiance can be present.
