The paper gives an ennumeration of the results of the authors latest floristical researches in Mátra Mountaines and the surrounding region (North Hungary). In the enumeration floristical data from the Mátra Mountaines are following the abbreviations ‘MM; DM; NM; KM; M; PR’, from the valley of River Tarna are following the abbrevaion ‘T’, from the valley of River Zagyva are following the abbrevaions ‘FZ’ and ‘AZ’, and from the Bükk Mts. are following the abbrevations ‘B; DB’. The numerous occurence of some Carpathian plants, as Tephroseris crispa (Jacq.) Rchb., Rosa pendulina L., Poa remota Forselles or Primula elatior (L.) Grufbg., on the higest points emphasizes the mountainous floristical influence. On the other hand at the southern part of the area some submediterranian and continental flora elements, as Vicia sparsiflora Ten., Trifolium diffusum Ehrh., Potentilla micrantha Ram., Orlaya grandiflora (L.) Hoffm. are presenced expressing the opposite character of the mountains. Some occurences are new to the vascular flora of the Mátra Mts., as the occurence of Aquilegia vulgaris L., Agrimonia procera Wallr., Ribes alpinum L., Carex rostrata Stokes, Jasione montana L., Epipactis tallosii Molnár et Robatsch, Typha laxmannii Lepech, Tephroseris aurantiaca (Hoppe) Schur. Distribution maps on some species are also presented.
