The hill Kő-szirt belonging to the Cserhát Mountains is found in Nógrád County, on the right bank of Zagyva river, next to the village Mátraverebély. In the article data are given on the vegetation of Kő-szirt hill (on  associations and characteristic plants). The territory has undisturbed associations where can be found a few rare plants e.g. Pulsatilla grandis, Dictamnus albus, Echium russicum, Carduus collinus, Poa pannonica subsp. scabra, Stipa pulcherrima and characteristic plants e.g. Adonis vernalis, Pulsatilla pratensis subsp. nigricans, Festuca rupicola, Festuca valesiaca, Quecus pubescens, Erysimum odoratum, Chrysopogon gryllus.
