Kivonat:

The authors began examining the bryophyte flora of the areas consisting of radiolarite bedrock in the Bükk mountains. This bedrock type provides a  rather acidic substrate as big cliffs or as rubble because its SiO2 content is near 100%, therefore a quite different bryophyte vegetation can develop on it than on the prevailing limestone areas. Polytrichetum piliferi bryophyte community can be found rubble-soil areas, while Paraleucobryetum fulvi, Hypno-Polypodietum and Bartramietum pomiformis communities dominate the shady radiolarite cliffs. In the beech forest zone of the mountains Leucobryum glaucum covers large areas (Pazsag, Vasbánya-lápa). Eight rare species have been found for the Bükk mountains. Porella platyphylloidea which occured on the huge radiolarite cliff of Nagyoldal by Bátor, Barbilophozia floerkei on Nagyoldal and Vasbánya-hill by Felsőtárkány, Jungermannia sphaerocarpa at Pazsag valley on Borostyán-hill and J. leiantha. There are new hepatic records to the Bükk mountains. The first moss species is new for the Hungarian Northern Mountains, it is Myurella julacea var. scabrida. Pohlia drummondii and Atrichum angustatum are new for Bükk Mts., but they occur as rare species in other places of the Hungarian Northern Mountains. From the collected moss species Hypnum jutlandicum is firstly recognized from Hungarian bryoflora.
