As a results of flora research in Börzsöny 1999, the number of known taxa of the Börzsöny mountains has increased by 14 species. From botanical point of view, the most important species are: Allium paniculatum L. subsp. marginatum (Janka) Soó, Carex brevicollis DC., Dryopteris expansa (C. B. Presl) Fraser-Jenkins, Lotus borbasii Ujhelyi. The research proved the current presence of a number of species enlisted in earlier literature. Examples are the following species: Inula germanica L., Scabiosa canescens W. et K., Seseli varium Trev.
