This paper publishes the results of the floristical research of Taktaköz (North Hungary, by the river Tisza). The flora of this area was not examined thoroughly before, contrary to the flora of other parts of Alföld (e.g. Bodrogköz, Szatmár-Bereg or Hortobágy). Altogether 58 taxa proved new to Taktaköz such as Matteuccia struthiopteris, Rosa gallica, Sanguisorba officinalis, Filipendula ulmaria, Gentiana pneumonanthe, Epipactis helleborine and Cephalanthera longifolia. The Salsola collina was new to Crisicum. The authors found new localities of some rare and important species such as Thelypteris palustris, Armoracia macrocarpa, Lathyrus palustris, Peucedanum officinale, Leucanthemella serotina and Leucojum aestivum.

The most significant data are documented by specimens deposited at Herbarium of Debrecen University (DE) and by photographs.
