In July 2001 in the Bakony mountains at the boundary of Eplény, a couple of flowering  stocks of Himantoglossum caprinum was found. The place, where I found the plants was a secondary and disturbed habitat. From my discovery turned out that this species in this territory was unknown more than sixty years. The latest data was known in the vicinity of Veszprém. Of this species this is the one actually data at present in Vesprimense.  Enlarge the value of this new data that the locality is by the meeting of the areas of the two Himantoglossum-species.  At the following years I do the research of this locality, and I call up the attention of the places great protection, because now that is an unprotected area.
