Floristic data are presented from the Aggtelek Karst and its surrounding areas, Putnok Hills, Cserehát, Hernád Valley and Sajó Valley. A new habitat of the strictly protected Himantoglossum caprinum has been found. Presence of Eleocharis carniolica, Epilobium palustre and Galium rivale has been confirmed. The existence of several species new to the Northern Mountain Range is also published (Melilotus dentatus, Sium sisaroideum, Crepis capillaris, Potamogeton pusillus, Schoenoplectus supinus, Cyperus difformis). Some invasive species proved to be frequent in the research area (Amorpha fruticosa, Humulus japonica, Iva xanthifolia). The second known habitat of Valerana simplicifolia in Hungary, furthermore several other protected species, such as Equisetum variegatum, Thelypteris palustris, Ranunculus lingua, Lindernia procumbens, Inula oculus-christi, Hottonia palustris, Listera ovata, Dactylorhiza fuchsii, Eleocharis uniglumis, Carex paniculata have also been found as new data in the area.
