The paper describes new data about rare and local species in the Bükk Mountains. The most important among them is Valeriana simplicifolia (Reichenb.) Kabath which is new to the Hungarian flora as well. In addition the paper riports for the first time about Carex buekii Wimm., Carex hostiana D.C., in Bükk Mountain and reveals Carex elongata L. and Alchemilla filicaulis Buser in the Bükk Mountains again. The study contains original maps about 22 species. From these maps phytogeographical conclusions can be drawn.
