"Cumanian-hillocks" are the natural resaurces of the Carpathian basion. During the years there became abont 30-40 thousands of these formations in this area, most of them in the Great Plain. As a result of flood controlling they were directly effected by agricultural regions in the last century. The plough-land, reafforestation, chemization are great dangers for the natural resources of the land. The preservation of biological variety is aur main and cureent issue.
