Detailed data are shown to the range of some plant species in the Gerecse Mts., Hungary. 18 original maps help to demonstrate the occurences of species, which have typical range patterns in the mountains (e.g. restricted to the eastern, western or central parts of the mountains or in the dolomite hills in the south, or the Gete group in the north-east edge). 13 species is mentioned by the author, which had not been known in the Gerecse hills (these are: Pyrus nivalis Jacg., Filipendula ulmaria (L.) Maxim, Chaerophyllum aromaticum L., Sherardia arvensis L., Geranium pratense L., Asclepias syriaca L., Lycopsis arvensis L., Limosella aquatica L., Jasione montana L., Iva xanthiifolia Nutt., Achillea distans W. et K., Spergularia rubra (L.) J. et C. Presl, Epipactis purpurata Sm.). The presence of a lot of species today had been vague, because of the last publication deal with, were published years ago. Certain areas of the region had not been known, so this is the first time, we can get information about the vegetation of these, which are mainly in the the eastern hilly region of the mountains.
